Richard Schultz - 1966 Collection Adjustable Chaise Chair

Originally designed for Florence Knoll, outdoor furnishings that can withstand the corrosive salt air at her home in Florida. Richard Schultz designed outdoor chaise lounge featuring a cast and extruded aluminum frame with weather resistant polyester powder coated finish. Upholstered in woven vinyl coated polyester mesh, with solid pure vinyl straps; choice of colours for the straps, mesh and frame. The dimensions are 64.75cm w x 193cm d x 36.25cm h (25.5” w x 76” d x 14.5” h). "Richard Schultz designed the collection in 1966 at the request of Florence Knoll, who wanted well-designed outdoor furnishings that would withstand the corrosive salt air at her home in Florida. Through the years, the 1966 Collection™ has earned a special place in the world of outdoor furniture. After being discontinued in 1988, the 1966 Collection™ was reissued and produced by the designer and is still produced exactly as it should be in terms of material and form.
